Jawatan Kosong di Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Awam Malaysia (CAAM)
Incorporating CAAM complies with the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) demand that contracting governments to the Chicago Convention create a self-governing civil aviation authority in order to assure effective management of the safety and security of civil aviation.
CAAM has the authority to regulate technical issues in civil aviation. The primary responsibility of CAAM is to support the growth of Malaysia's civil aviation technical sector, and it is required to adhere to ICAO standards to maintain efficient, safe, and secure aviation.
One of CAAM's main responsibilities is to regulate, facilitate, and promote the country's aviation and aerospace industry as well as to ensure that Malaysia can fulfill its national and international obligations in matters about civil aviation and that the universal safety and security standards and requirements in civil aviation are put into practice, adhered to, and well-maintained. The establishment of CAAM is also intended to guarantee that activities involving Malaysia's civil aviation sector adhere to the safety norms and guidelines advised by ICAO.
